How is it made

Sunday, 19 March 2023

To make HOCL (hypochlorous acid) from NACL (sodium chloride), we use electrolysis. This is because HOCL is formed by the oxidation of chloride ions when electricity is passed through a solution of sodium chloride. First, a solution of sodium chloride (NACL) is made by dissolving it in water. Our state of the art HOCL generators produce the currect current that will cause the NACL to be oxidized and form hypochlorous acid (HOCL). Finally, the HOCL is stored and packaged in the dark and at the correct pH to create a stable HOCL product
